I work from WordPress and Power BI all the way to React, Python and full desktop apps. I pick whatever tool actually fits the job.
I'm studying Applied Data Science & Artificial Intelligence at The Hague University of Applied Sciences, and before that I finished a Software Development degree at Grafisch Lyceum Rotterdam. I've built web apps and worked with APIs, databases, Docker and Git. On the side I build my own products, mixing software, automation and a bit of AI. I like working in a structured way, I pick up new tools fast, and I care about making things that are actually nice to use.
I work across the whole range: a WordPress site a client can keep editing, a Power BI dashboard, or a typed React app with tests behind it. The useful part isn't any one of those. It's knowing which one a job actually needs.
That mix isn't an accident. The MBO in Software Development at Grafisch Lyceum Rotterdam gave me the engineering basics and two internships where I wrote code other people relied on. My bachelor in Applied Data Science & AI at The Hague University of Applied Sciences is where the stats and machine learning side comes from.
In between, I build my own stuff. ReplicaHive runs AI coding agents in isolated Git worktrees. ReplicaMD is a local-first Markdown app with 879 tests behind it. Different problems, same reflex: spot the annoying part, then actually fix it instead of working around it.

Four things that hold across every project.

Structured before clever
I plan in a way that leaves room to change course without tearing everything down. I learned that the hard way keeping projects on track during my internship at Buro CITE.

Learn it, then use it for real
A new framework only counts once it has survived actual users. Both internships were basically that: pick something up fast and ship it.

Local-first by default
My products keep your files, keys and history on your own machine. That is a choice I make on purpose, and it shapes how the whole thing is built.

Has to be nice to use
A tool that is technically correct but annoying just does not get used. The quality of the interface is not decoration, it is whether the thing actually works for you.
